ISO 9001

Introduction

ISO 9001 is a renowned international standard for any organization that sets benchmarks for quality. Based on how complex the product is, the type of business (manufacture, distribution or servicing) and the risk to the producer, the requirements of ISO 9001 can be put into use to meet specific contractual situations. For instance, if the supplier that is chosen is weak on the controls of the calibration of their measurement equipment, that particular requirement would be invoked in the contract.
